The Ivorian striker, 26, came through Atalanta's academy before making his name at St. Gallen in Switzerland. He scored 14 league goals in 2022/23, earning a €7 million move to Middlesbrough. Latte Lath netted 29 times in 67 appearances for Boro, including 16 Championship goals in his first season.
Why is Union Berlin interested?
Union Berlin lacked a consistent goalscorer last season, with no forward scoring more than six Bundesliga goals. Latte Lath's pace and finishing could address that issue, though Atlanta may demand a significant fee after paying a record $22 million for him in 2025.
